JJ Buckley offers full service wine storage at our temperature controlled Oakland, California facility at prices below other full service facilities and competitive to self storage. Your wine is stored safely in our temperature controlled, secure facility. You can view your wines in storage online directly on jjbuckley.com. Need a wine? We can ship it to you or you can pick it up.

Our Facility

JJ Buckley has a 25,000 square foot, temperature controlled facility in Oakland, California. We use active cooling to ensure your wines are stored at the optimal temperature. Our facilities have the latest security mechanisms including alarms, access control, video cameras and patrols. Your wine is safe with us!

Online Access & Reports

Through the My Account section of our website, you have full access to your wine inventory. View your current stock, arrange shipments, view your account history and download reports - it is all possible 24/7 from any Internet connected computer.

Pricing

Any wine purchased from JJ Buckley may be stored with us for six (6) months at no charge. After the six month period, you will be billed according to our regular storage rates per the below.

You are billed $0.16 per month for each 750ml bottle or equivalent. Bottles greater than 750ml are charged at their 750ml equivalents. For example, a 3L is equal to 4 x 750ml, so the monthly charge is 64 cents. Bottles smaller than 750ml are charged at 16 cents each. You are billed based on your average daily volume for that month.

Insurance

By default, your wines are not insured. You may purchase insurance to protect your wines against damage, loss, theft and breakage for an annual cost of 2% of the declared value of your collection (billed monthly). Or, you may purchase your own insurance. We recommend Fireman's Fund or Chubbs - both of which provide high quality wine collection insurance.

Adding and Removing Wine

Anytime you purchase wine from JJ Buckley, you can have it added to your storage account - just select "STORAGE" from the shipping options when you checkout. Wines purchased from JJ Buckley get the first 6 months of storage free!

To take a wine out of storage, simply login to your account to arrange shipment of any of your wines. We can ship your wine directly to you or make it available for you to pick up during business hours.
